Audiovisual Techonology

The four forms of tech I would use are: an overhead projector as my traditional visual technology, an Ipad as my emerging visual technology, a tape recorder for traditional audio and Internet audio for emerging audio. For an overhead projector I would set up transparencies so that I could call students up to the projector and have them either write their answer or walk them through a problem. Using the Ipad I would create a worksheet that would have my students using many different educational applications that i downloaded to answer questions. For using my tape recorder I would split the class and give them a topic to debate and record them, then the next day switch the sides and record them so that when they were finished we could play back the tapes to listen to the different responses. Internet radio has a lot of potential a great way to use it would be to find famous pieces of music throughout history and play them to the students to show how the different styles have evolved throughout the years.

My classroom

I would prefer a classroom with more digital technologies because they would aid me in teaching my students. By having this technology I can use it in my lessions making it easier for me to teach and my students to learn. In using computers the student will be able to interact with the lession instead of sitting behind a desk listening to me talk for hours. Also with giving the class notes instead of reading them over and over so every student has them written down i can project them on the board using a projector. all of these elemnts will better the education my students are recieving.
